Preparation

For the Haddock & Napa Cabbage Salad

  • 1 package Tempura Battered Haddock
  • 3 cup Napa Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup Edamame Frozen Shelled
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro fresh chopped
  • 1 ea Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 ea Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1 ea Cucumber, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Mint, chopped fresh
  • 1/2 cup Cashews

Sesame Ginger Dressing

  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce reduced sodium
  • 1 ea Garlic, Clove grated
  • 2 tsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 1/4 tsp Toasted Sesame Oi
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oi

Sesame Crunch

  • 2 tbsp White Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Black Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Dried Onion Flakes
  1. For the Haddock & Napa Cabbage Salad: Prepare the Haddock according to your preferred package cooking instructions, ensuring Haddock reaches 158℉ (70℃)
  2. For the Salad: Combine shredded cabbage, carrots, cucumber, red and yellow peppers, edamame, cashews, cilantro and mint in a large bowl. Toss with the sesame ginger dressing.
  3. For the Sesame Ginger Dressing: Combine all ingredients in a small jar with a sealed lid and shake well until combined, approximately 30-45 seconds.
  4. For the Sesame Crunch: Add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix well.
  5. To Plate: Divide the salad equally between three large plates. Top each salad with two fully cooked portions of Tempura Haddock. Serve with sesame crunch and extra sesame ginger dressing.
