Fish Stick Fondue

- 1 box High Liner Fish Sticks
- 1 x 13oz can evaporated milk
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2.5 cups cheddar cheese – grated
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic minced
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 sour dough round loaf
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Prepare High Liner Fish In Tempura Batter as per box directions
- Slice off top off the bread and hollow out the inside with a small knife, leaving approx. ½ inch shell. Mix olive oil with salt & pepper and use a brush to lather the inside with olive oil. Bake in oven until crispy
- Chop hollowed bread into cubes. Place in a sauté pan with few glugs of olive oil and a nob of butter and sauté on medium high heat until croutons are toasted on all sides.
- In a sauce pot, sweat garlic with butter. Add milk and bring to a simmer. Mix cornstarch with grated cheese and cheese to the milk in stages. Mix in smoked paprika and keep warm.
- Pour cheese sauce into bread hallow and serve with cooked fish, croutons, and desired veggies.
