Seaside Shrimps N’ Chips

Transport your taste buds to the coast with our Seaside Shrimps n' Chips, a dish that brings the flavors of the ocean right to your dinner table. Paired with French fries tossed in our scratch-made seaside spice, reminiscent of the classic Old Bay seasoning, this meal is a delightful nod to seaside traditions.

Ingredients
Preparation
  • 1 package Family Favourites Butterfly Shrimp
  • 340 g Frozen French Fries
  • 4 cup Mixed Greens
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomato
  • 1/2 cup Carrots, shredded
  • 4 ea Radish, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Lemon, juice
  • 4 ea Lemon, wedge

Seaside Spice

  • 5 ea Bay Leaf Dried
  • 2 tsp Celery Salt
  • 1 tsp Mustard Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp White Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne

Seaside Shrimp Sauce

  • 1 cup Mayo
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Pickles, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Ground Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Horseradish, Prepared
  • 1 tbsp Lemon, juice
  • 2 tsp Hot Sauce
  • 2 tsp Seaside Spice
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Prepare the Butterfly Shrimp and frozen French fries according to their respective package cooking instructions.
  2. Add all of the ingredients to a blender or small coffee grinder. Process until the bay leaves have been ground fine and then reserve.
  3. For the Seaside Spice: Add all of the ingredients to a small bowl, mix well and then reserve.
  4. For the Seaside Shrimp Sauce: dd all of the ingredients to a small bowl, mix well and then reserve under refrigeration.
  5. To Finish: While the Shrimp and French fries cook, assemble four small mixed green salads, using the cherry tomatoes, carrots and radish. Drizzle each salad with olive oil and lemon juice.
  6. Toss the fully cooked French fries with approximately 2 tbsp of prepared seaside spice. Divide the fries and the fully cooked Shrimp between each of the four dinner plates. Serve with a 1/4 cup side of seaside shrimp sauce and a lemon wedge to garnish.
