Crispy Haddock Lettuce Cups With Yogurt Tartar Sauce

Weeknight dinners come together in a cinch with simple, fresh, and delicious ingredients. If the tartar sauce on these crispy and heavenly haddock lettuce cups isn’t your jam, switch it out for something you love.

  • 5 Signature Cuts™ Breaded Haddock Fillets
  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • ½ cup shredded red cabbage
  • ½ cup cilantro leaves
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 lemon, cut in half
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp grated pickles
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 heads Boston or Butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • Sliced watermelon radish (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Place a cast iron pan on the middle rack. When the oven is hot, carefully place the breaded haddock in the pan. Bake according to package directions.
  2. In a small bowl, toss together the carrot, cabbage and cilantro. Thinly slice the tops of the green onion and add them to the slaw. Juice half a lemon over the top and season well with salt and pepper. Mix to combine.
  3. In a small bowl or jar, combine the yogurt, mustard, pickles and pickle juice. Finely mince the white bottoms of the green onion and add them to the tartar sauce. Juice the remaining lemon and add the juice to the sauce. Season well with salt and pepper and stir well to combine.
  4. To serve, set out the lettuce leaves, crispy haddock, carrot slaw and yogurt tartar sauce. Let people build their own Crispy Haddock Lettuce Cups with Yogurt Tartar Sauce. If desired, garnish with sliced radishes, additional cilantro and lemon wedges.
