Spicy Salmon, Broccolini & Orecchiette Pasta

Cook your salmon a little spicy in this fresh take at classic Italian pasta. Cherry tomatoes and shredded broccoli enhance the flavour of this dish and add nice texture and freshness.

  • 1 pckg Signature Cuts IQF Salmon
  • 8 oz. Orecchiette Pasta
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. Pepper Flakes
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 1 Broccolini, chopped into 1” pieces
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese, 2 tbsp. reserved for garnish
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and follow instructions to cook the Orecchiette Pasta according to the package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat a large non-stick saute pan over a medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and sear the salmon on one side until lightly browned. Remove the salmon from the pan before adding the garlic, pepper flakes, cherry tomatoes and chopped broccolini. Cook for two minutes, stirring often.
  3. Add the salmon back into the pan along with approximately 1 cup of the pasta cooking liquid. Continue heating allowing the veggies and salmon to fully cook.
  4. Strain the pasta and add to the saute pan along with the parmesan cheese. Mix well before dividing amongst pasta bowls and garnish with additional parmesan cheese.
