  • 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning, dried or fresh
  • 4 ea Sandwich Wrap
  • 8 ea Provolone Cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup Basil, leaves

  • 1 cup Pepperoncini, optional

Arrabbiata Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Garlic, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 1/4 cup Crushed Tomatoes
Tips from the chef: Don't like tomatoes? Swap them out for your favorite fresh or prepared vegetables to customize this Crispy Italian Wrap. Try baby spinach or pepperoncini(suggested) or your favourite combination like roasted red peppers or artichoke hearts.
  1. Prepare the Haddock fish sticks according to the package instructions.
  2. Season the fully cooked fish sticks with fresh or dried Italian herbs.
  3. Preheat a non-stick sauté pan over a medium setting. Add a sandwich wrap to the pan. Add two slices of cheese, along with the basil, two slices of tomato and three fully cooked and seasoned fish sticks to one side of the wrap. This is also your opportunity to add the optional baby spinach or pepperoncini.
  4. Fold the sandwich wrap over creating a handheld crispy Italian Haddock Wrap.Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side to crisp the tortilla and warm the wrap through. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients, creating four wraps in total.
  5. For the Arrabbiata Sauce: Preheat a sauce pan over a medium-high setting. Add the olive oil and sliced garlic and cook for 2 minutes until golden brown. Add the pepper flakes, swirl the pan, and then carefully add the crushed tomatoes. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer for 2-3 minutes before shutting off the heat.
  6. To Serve: Serve the warm and crispy Italian Haddock Wrap with a ramekin of sauce on the side for dipping.
